Vakıflar Volleyball Team celebrated the Super Cup at Evkaf
The Vakıflar Men's Volleyball team, operating under the Vakıflar Sports Club, faced the Famagusta Sports Academy (MSA) in the Super Cup match held last week and managed to bring the trophy to Vakıflar as a result of a 3-2 superiority. The joy of winning the Super Cup was shared with the General Manager of Foundations Administration, Prof. Dr. They celebrated with İbrahim Benter.
Emphasizing that the success of the team has a very valuable place under the umbrella of Evkaf, Benter conveyed the following words to the youth; “The sports activities you have done as young people have a very valuable place for us. It makes us proud that you operate in every field where you feel happy and never give up. For you who are our future, Cyprus Foundations Administration is always ready to be with you financially and morally. I congratulate the Club President of Vakıflar Sports Club, Mehmet Kanan, team coaches Kemal Moral and the members of the board of directors for forming such a strong team and wish them continued success.”
Speaking during the meeting, Foundations Sports Club President Mehmet Kanan stated that he thanked the Cyprus Foundations Administration for their contributions, and that thanks to sports, young people stay away from bad habits. He also stated that they are happy for the scholarship support provided by the Foundations Administration for some students in the team, and that our young people can both study and work in their fields of interest.
Foundations Sports Club, which was established in 1985 with the efforts of Evkaf institution employees, has been actively continuing its activities for years. The Vakıflar Volleyball Team currently has two groups, Women and Men, and a total of 6 teams under these two groups: Stars and Youth.
