- Parties
- The Foundation Organization and Department of Religious Affairs, a registered public authority with its headquarters in Nicosia, which operates the website www.evkaf.org (hereinafter referred to as the “Cyprus Evkaf Administration”), and the internet user who becomes a member of the website www.evkaf.org (hereinafter referred to as the “Member”).
- Subject of the Agreement
- The subject of this Agreement is the payment of rental fees and/or debt obligations related to immovable properties leased by the Cyprus Evkaf Administration to natural and/or legal persons, through the website www.evkaf.org owned by the Cyprus Evkaf Administration.
- Rights and Obligations of the Parties
The Member declares and undertakes that all personal and other information provided during registration on the website www.evkaf.org is accurate and lawful, and agrees to fully and immediately indemnify the Cyprus Evkaf Administration for any damages incurred due to the inaccuracy or falsity of such information.
The Member accepts that they will provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information regarding themselves and/or the legal entity they represent while completing the registration form and will keep such information accurate and current at all times.
Upon registration, the Cyprus Evkaf Administration will assign the Member a username and password. The Member is responsible for notifying the Foundations Administration in the event of any unauthorized use of their username and password, and for logging out by closing the browser after accessing the website. The Cyprus Evkaf Administration shall not be held liable for any loss or alteration of information resulting from non-compliance with these obligations.
The Member may not disclose their password to any third party. The right to use the password belongs exclusively to the Member. All liabilities arising from such unauthorized use, as well as any claims asserted against the Cyprus Evkaf Administration by third parties or competent authorities, shall be borne by the Member. The Cyprus Evkaf Administration reserves all rights to claim compensation and other remedies arising from such unauthorized use.
The Member agrees and undertakes to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the website www.evkaf.org and not to violate them. Otherwise, all legal and criminal liabilities shall rest solely and exclusively with the Member.
The Member agrees not to access or use, without authorization, the software or data of other internet users. Any legal or criminal liability arising therefrom shall belong entirely to the Member.
A Member who violates one or more provisions of this membership agreement shall be personally liable, both criminally and legally, for such violation and shall hold the Cyprus Evkaf Administration harmless from any legal or criminal consequences arising therefrom. Furthermore, in the event that the matter is referred to legal proceedings, the Cyprus Evkaf Administration reserves the right to claim compensation from the Member due to non-compliance with the membership agreement.
The Cyprus Evkaf Administration reserves the right to unilaterally delete the Member’s membership and to remove any files, documents, or information belonging to the Member whenever deemed necessary. The Member accepts this in advance, and the Cyprus Evkaf Administration shall bear no liability in such cases.
Reasonable measures have been taken to ensure that the website www.evkaf.org is free from viruses and similar malicious software. However, to ensure ultimate security, the Member is responsible for providing their own virus protection system and taking necessary precautions. By accessing the website, the Member shall be deemed to have accepted responsibility for any errors or damages occurring in their own software and operating systems, whether direct or indirect.
The Cyprus Evkaf Administration reserves the right to modify the content of the website, change or terminate any services provided to users, or delete user information and data registered on the website www.evkaf.org at any time.
The Cyprus Evkaf Administration may amend, update, or cancel the terms of this membership agreement at any time without prior notice. Any amended, updated, or repealed provision shall take effect for all Members as of the date of publication.
- Confidentiality
- Necessary security measures appropriate to the nature of the information and transactions are taken within the system and internet infrastructure by the Cyprus Evkaf Administration and/or the relevant Card Organizations. All credit card transactions and approvals are carried out online directly between the Member and the relevant bank or card organization, independently of the Cyrpus Evkaf Administration. Sensitive information such as credit card passwords is redirected directly to the selected Card Organization without being viewed by the Cyprus Evkaf Administration. The transaction is completed upon confirmation received from the relevant Card Organization.
- All information, including confidential information entered by Members, cannot be viewed by other internet users.
- Member information may be disclosed to relevant authorities within the scope of obligations imposed by applicable legal regulations.
- In cases where the website provides links to other websites, the privacy, security policies, and terms of use of those websites shall apply for all usage and transactions.
- The Cyprus Evkaf Administration shall not be liable for any disputes, material or moral damages, or losses arising from the use of information obtained from other websites accessed via advertisements, banners, content, or for any other purpose, nor for the ethical principles, privacy-security policies, service quality, or other practices of such websites.
- For the purposes of identifying and resolving system-related issues, improving and developing the website and system, certain information may be collected, including the name of the internet service provider used by Members, IP address, date and time of access, pages accessed during the visit, and the internet address of the website that directly referred the user to the site.
- Cookies are used on the website to prevent Members from repeatedly entering their registration information and to improve usability. Cookies do not lead to the identification of Members and expire when the browser window is closed.
- The Cyprus Evkaf Administration reserves the right to modify, correct, or remove any information contained on this website at any time without prior notice.
- The Cyprus Evkaf Administration may disclose the Member’s personal information when required by law or when it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with legal obligations or legal processes served upon the Cyprus Evkaf Administration; or (b) protect and defend the rights and property of the Cyprus Evkaf Administration and the www.evkaf.org website.
- Credit card information is never stored and is redirected directly to the Bank’s Secure Shared Payment System during the e-payment process.
- Online debt payments may be made via credit card using the Virtual POS service. In the event that payment is made using a third party’s credit card, the Cyprus Evkaf Administration shall bear no responsibility, and all responsibility shall rest entirely with the Member and the third party.
- In the event of a breach of one or more provisions of this agreement, the Cyprus Evkaf Administration reserves the right to restrict or terminate usage without prior notice.
- The Cyprus Evkaf Administration reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend some or all of the services offered on the website.
- The Cyprus Evkaf Administration reserves the right to amend all terms set forth in this agreement without prior notice.
- Pursuant to this membership agreement, the Cyrpus Evkaf Administration is authorized to send standard service notifications, informational and campaign emails to the Members’ registered email addresses, and informational SMS messages to their mobile phones. By approving this membership agreement, the Member shall be deemed to have consented to receiving such communications.
- Termination of the Agreement
- This Agreement shall remain in force until the Member cancels their membership or until the membership is canceled by the Foundations Administration. The Cyprus Administration may unilaterally terminate this Agreement by canceling the Member’s membership in the event of a breach of any provision of this Agreement.
- Resolution of Disputes
- In the resolution of disputes arising from this Agreement, the Nicosia District Court shall have jurisdiction.
- Entry into Force
- By completing the membership registration, the Member is deemed to have read and accepted all provisions of this membership agreement. This Agreement shall enter into force upon the Member’s registration and shall become mutually binding as of that moment.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
The Cyprus Evkaf Administration places the highest priority on the security of credit card holders who make payments via the electronic payment website e-odeme.evkaf.org. Credit card information is never stored in our systems under any circumstances.
When you enter the transaction process, there are two key indicators that show you are on a secure website. One of these is the key or lock icon displayed at the bottom of your browser. This indicates that you are on a secure web page and that all information you provide is protected through encryption. Such information is used solely within the scope of the payment transaction process and in accordance with our instructions.
Credit card information used during transactions is encrypted using the 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol and transmitted directly to the relevant bank for authorization, independently of our payment website. Once the card’s usability is approved, the payment process continues. As no card information is viewed or stored by us, unauthorized access to such information by third parties is effectively prevented.
E-MAIL SECURITY
In any e-mails you send to the Cyprus Evkaf Administration regarding payments, you should never include your credit card number or passwords. Information contained in e-mails may be viewed by third parties. Our Administration cannot, under any circumstances, guarantee the security of information transmitted via e-mail.
Our Administration reserves the right to amend the provisions of this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing them on the website and/or notifying users via electronic mail. Any amendments to the Privacy Policy shall enter into force as of the date of publication.
