Evkaf Works for a Better Cyprus

On the 451st anniversary of the foundation of the Cyprus Foundations Administration and the 66th anniversary of its transition from the British to the Turks, the spirit of cooperation continues to be kept alive.

Despite being recaptured from the British on April 15, 1956, with great damage, Evkaf is getting stronger every day with the good deeds it does and strives to move Cyprus to a better position.

Making a statement on the subject, Cyprus Foundations Administration General Director Prof. Dr. İbrahim Benter said, “We remember with mercy and gratitude our great-grandparents who chose not to be selfish but to do good deeds 451 years ago and donate their goods for the benefit of society.

Evkaf, which was weakened considerably under the British administration, removed from its purpose, whose properties were damaged and sold, was almost reborn on April 15, 1956.
