The forest fire, which broke out today in the Cennet Vadisi region between the villages of Esentepe and Karaağaç in Kyrenia, was brought under control thanks to the intensive efforts of relevant institutions. Numerous teams quickly arrived at the scene and continued cooling efforts after extinguishing the fire.

The Cyprus Foundations Administration distributed drinking water and hats to personnel working in the area to support these dedicated teams fighting the fire.

A statement from the Cyprus Foundations Administration officials included the following:
