In cooperation with the Foundations and Forestry Department, training activities for the young environmental leader within the scope of the Green Island Protocol started in the Geçitköy recreation area.

With this project, it is aimed to convey environmental awareness to young generations and to convey all aspects of the environment and its strategic importance to young environmental leaders.

Studies were initiated with a well-equipped team of forest engineers, environmental scientists, educators, biologists, veterinarians, botanists, clinical psychologists, sociologists, medical doctors and photographers.

Within the scope of the forest school, goodness forests and young environmental leadership project, general environmental training will be provided, particularly on subjects such as nature camp studies, map training, planting saplings, protection of flora and fauna, bird watching, photography, tree grafting, beekeeping, and sapling cultivation.
