Evkaf Kindness Volunteers: Everyone Should Plant a Sapling

While Evkaf Kindness Volunteers struggle to achieve a cleaner future with the saplings they plant, they aim to make our youth aware of this issue.

With the organizations held by saying "Everybody should plant a sapling", it contributes to the increase of our country's forests.

It was worth seeing the happiness of the young people in the sapling planting organization held in Güzelyurt Mevlevi Village with the participation of approximately 35 young volunteers and İbrahim Benter, General Manager of the Cyprus Foundations Administration.

Dozens of olive and lavender saplings met the soil. With the lavender saplings planted on an area of ​​approximately 30 olives and half a decare, another seed has been planted in the ground for the greening of the future and hopes.

Making a statement on the subject, Evkaf charity volunteer Mehmet Güneş said, "Today, in cooperation with the headman's office in Mevlevi Village, we brought olive and lavender saplings together with the soil and nature. We told our youth about production and the importance of production."

Village headman İsmail Ayyıldız said, "We brought our children together with the soil. We explained the characteristics of the lavender flower and the importance of nature."
