The fires that have occurred in various regions of Turkey and in our country in recent days have deeply wounded not only our forests and natural life, but also all of our hearts.

We are grateful to all public officials, firefighters, volunteers and everyone who fought by putting their lives on the line during these disasters. We wish all our citizens affected by the fires a speedy recovery and hope that their wounds will heal as soon as possible.

Our prayers are for every tree that has surrendered to the flames, every living creature that has been harmed and every person who has suffered. We realize once again the importance of unity and solidarity as a nation during these difficult days.
