The Director General of the Cyprus Evkaf  Administration, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer, received officials from the Libyan Embassy in the Republic of Cyprus.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer, Director General of the Cyprus Evkaf Administration, received Jibril Abdul Hamid Alhaen, representative of the Islamic Da'wah Community and head of the Islamic Affairs Committee of the Libyan Embassy, ​​and other officials at his office.

During the meeting, the current situation regarding the management and protection of foundation properties in Cyprus was discussed, and potential areas of cooperation for regional collaboration and the preservation of cultural heritage were evaluated. The parties reached a consensus on sharing information and practices that would benefit both sides.

In a statement made during the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer said, “As the Cyprus Evkaf Administration, the preservation and sustainable management of our historical and cultural heritage is among our priorities. Strengthening dialogue with Libya in this area, sharing our knowledge, and evaluating opportunities for mutual cooperation are important for us.”

Jibril Abdul Hamid Alhaen and his delegation stated that the visit was productive and emphasized the importance of increasing cooperation in cultural and administrative fields.
