The Cyprus Foundations Administration Kindness Volunteers Team Supported Blood Donation with the Message “20 Minutes for Yourself, A Life for Someone”

The Kindness Volunteers Team of the Cyprus Foundations Administration, renowned for its community-based volunteering activities, has launched a new social responsibility initiative to highlight the importance of blood donation and encourage donors.
The team recently visited the Nicosia Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital Blood Bank and Thalassemia Blood Donor Recruitment Unit, where they handed over thermoses and keychains prepared for donors. This small but meaningful gesture was welcomed by healthcare workers and donors.
The Kindness Volunteers emphasized the vital importance of blood donation, particularly for individuals in need of regular blood, such as those with thalassemia. The team emphasized that donating blood can save someone's life in just a few minutes.
They encouraged everyone in the community to donate, saying, "20 minutes for yourself, a lifetime for someone else."
The Cyprus Foundations Administration's Kindness Volunteers Team released a statement saying, "Donating blood is a life-saving act. With this awareness, we aim to encourage more people in society to donate."
The volunteers will continue to raise public awareness with similar campaigns in the coming period.
