In order to preserve the historic character of the Bedesten, one of Nicosia’s most significant heritage buildings, and to ensure its use is in keeping with its cultural and historical value, a maximum sound level of 64 decibels shall apply to all events held within the venue.

This requirement has been established in line with the criteria applied by the Department of Antiquities at other historic sites and shall be applicable to all events organised at the Bedesten.
