Ramadan Street Comes to Life in Nicosia

As the Cyprus Evkaf Administration, with the contributions of the Turkish Republic's Embassy in Nicosia, the Turkish Republic's Embassy in Nicosia Development and Economic Cooperation Office, and the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, we have implemented an important project in the historic Selimiye Square.

Selimiye Square, where Ramadan and Eid celebrations were joyfully observed throughout our history, has come back to life with Ramadan Street. In the event area established next to the Selimiye Mosque, we brought the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan to the heart of Nicosia and Cyprus.

Ramadan Street, filled with activities for all age groups from 7 to 70, featured stage performances, talks, workshops, and moments of sharing. We thank all our stakeholders and everyone who participated in our events.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, we concluded our event on Saturday evening, March 14, 2026.
