More than 2200 foundations were established in our country, and more than half of these foundations were led by our grandmothers, namely women. One of these women, the late Tomris Sıtkı Soyer, has both protected the civilization of kindness and set an example for the future with the foundation she has established in recent years.
For the deceased lady Tomris, who died a while ago, a mawlid will be recited at the Arabahmet Mosque, following the Friday prayer.
We commemorate with mercy and gratitude all our ancestors, especially our grandmothers, who helped carry the civilization of goodness to the present day by establishing foundations. Rest in peace. May their place be heaven.
