High School Entrepreneurship Competition Organized

After the workshop that lasted all day, the students who ranked high were given their awards at a ceremony.
Under the umbrella of the Eastern Mediterranean University Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, an inter-high school entrepreneurship competition and award ceremony was held with the contributions of the Turkish Embassy in Nicosia and the Cyprus Foundations Administration.
The event, which took place at the Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center, started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem.
Eastern Mediterranean University Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer stated that 70 students from 11 different high schools participated in the competition and that they produced their projects in the workshop that continued throughout the day.
Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın also expressed his satisfaction with the realization of such an important event under the roof of the university, expressing that he congratulated everyone who contributed.
Minister of Labor and Social Security, Hasan Taçoy, who participated in the event, also thanked Eastern Mediterranean University for giving such an important opportunity to young people, and emphasized the importance of young people generating ideas and thinking about this issue.
Taçoy underlined the importance of young people taking part in the project with self-confidence.
In his speech, President Ersin Tatar emphasized the importance of students producing projects and turning them into reality by breaking down barriers such as embargo and isolation in the age of technology.
Underlining the fact that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is a part of the world, Tatar said, "Our youth have all kinds of visions, we have international successes, no one can put an obstacle in our way, we trust our young people, we also support the realization of the ideas of the young people."
After the speeches, the trainers and jury members who took part in the workshops were presented their certificates.
Then, the top 3 winners of the competition were announced. 5 days Konya holiday was given as a gift to the winners.
