Evkaf provides building to Cancer Research Foundation
Support for the 19th ORKİDE march, which will be organized by the Cancer Research Foundation (KAV) in cooperation with the Cengo Foundation, came from the Cyprus Foundations Administration (Evkaf). Evkaf provides the headquarters of the Cancer Research Foundation.
Evkaf General Manager Prof. Dr. İbrahim Benter, head of KAV, who has achieved worldwide success with cancer research, Prof. Dr. He held a meeting with Mustafa Camgöz and the President of the Cengo Foundation, which develops social, cultural and educational projects for children and young people, Özge Özbekoğlu on Monday, March 28.
Earnings from the ORKİDE march, which has been going on since 2003 with the aim of raising awareness about cancer, provides income to KAV. The 19th walk, which will take place on the 9 km area between the Bufavento-Tashkent picnic area on Sunday, April 10, is expected to have a large participation with buses departing from the four regions.
Evkaf, which helps institutions and individuals in need of assistance under any circumstances, supports KAV in terms of rent. The central building, which KAV rented from Evkaf in 2014, is used for activities free of charge.
