Evkaf Beside Earthquake Victims Who Are Our Heartfelt Guests
Thousands of families who had to leave their homes and regions due to the earthquake in Turkey continue to be hosted in the TRNC.
The first leg of the comprehensive aid organization realized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey and the Cyprus Foundations Administration has been completed for our earthquake victims, who are our heartfelt guests.
Gift certificates consisting of clothing and food were delivered to approximately 3500 earthquake victims under the leadership of Evkaf teams and Evkaf Kindness Volunteers, in line with carefully determined lists. The great wounds inflicted on us deeply affected us as well. However, the bridges of heart between us and Anatolia from past to present have helped the Turkish Cypriots to increase their hope and never feel alone.
In this case, we would like to express that we see the visitors not only as guests, but also as our mothers, fathers, siblings, in other words, our family, and we try to do our best with these feelings.
