The new face of Değirmenlik Primary School amazes those who see it. With the contributions of the Foundations Administration, 200 olive saplings and spraying machines were procured, and a real school garden was created as a result of the devoted efforts of the school-parent union.

Making a statement on the subject, Mustafa Kaldirim, the head of the Parent-Teacher Association of Değirmenlik Primary School, talked about his dream of planting an olive tree around the school and gave information about the process.

While thanking İbrahim Benter, the General Manager of the Foundations Administration, Kaldirim expressed that the contribution made is almost like giving the world to them.

On the other hand, the Deputy Principal of the School, Hasan Yurdakul, gives the names of our children to each of the trees, and we aim that even if they graduate from this school, they will visit that tree with that name in the following years, maybe collect the olives at harvest time and contribute in a collaborative manner. Children will gain an important awareness in this regard. They will feel the need to plant these trees in their own homes.
