Cyprus Foundations Administration Director General Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer visited the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş in his office. During the meeting, religious services and cooperation issues in Cyprus were discussed.

In a statement made after the visit, Prof. Dr. Tümer emphasized the importance of cooperation and joint projects aimed at protecting the religious and cultural heritage in Cyprus. He also stated that the strong ties between Turkey and Cyprus play a major role in the execution of religious services.

President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş expressed his satisfaction with Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer’s reception and said that the religious services carried out in Cyprus have a great meaning for Turkey. Erbaş stated that the cooperation between the two institutions should be further strengthened and that such visits provide an important basis for future work.

In addition to officials from the Presidency of Religious Affairs, TRNC President of Religious Affairs Hakan Moral also attended the meeting.
