On this occasion, we would like to bring to the attention of the public and the relevant authorities the current situation regarding the Deniz Yıldızı Apartments (Laguna) in Gazimağusa.

The legal process regarding the Deniz Yıldızı Apartments (Laguna) is ongoing. However, official reports prepared by experts regarding the current condition of the buildings have drawn attention to various risks and made important findings regarding the safety of the structures.

These risks have been known for a long time.

The Cyprus Evkaf Administration has made the necessary notifications and announcements regarding the apartments, placed warning signs regarding life and property safety in front of the buildings, and brought the matter to the attention of the relevant authorities.
