On the occasion of December 5, World Volunteers Day, a nature walk was held in Lefke in cooperation with Evkaf Kindness Volunteers and Young Volunteers.

The walk, which was carried out with the aim of highlighting the sense of togetherness and allowing young people to spend time in nature, resulted in an intense participation.

Making a statement on the subject, TC. Mithat Tekcam, Youth and Sports TRNC Coordinator, said, "We want to spread and encourage volunteering more on the World Volunteers Day, and to tell our people about their responsibility towards their own society and how to act together.

Today, as Kindness Volunteers and Young Volunteers, we are carrying out this meaningful event with the nature walk in Lefke."

Mehmet Güneş, Evkaf Charity Volunteers Responsible, said, "Volunteering does not have a religion, language or race; the world and humanity need volunteering. This is why we continue to touch nature, the environment and social life as volunteers.

Years ago, our ancestors left artifacts in our town of Lefke, which is a foundation city, and they voluntarily became partners in this goodness.
