Ebubekir Pasha Aqueducts (Larnaca arches area)
It is known that the aqueducts, which were built by Ebu Bekir Pasha 275 years ago during the Ottoman period, remained functional until 1939. These aqueducts, consisting of 75 arches, have met the needs of the region by carrying water from the Tremitho River to Larnaca for many years.
The length of the aqueducts, starting from the banks of the Tremithos River and reaching Larnaca, is 15 kilometers. The aqueducts, which gave their names to the region where the arches are located today, are also referred to as the "Arches" region of Larnaca.
