As the only Wheelchair Basketball Team in our country, the Vakıflar Wheelchair Basketball Team players, known for their successes at home and abroad under the main sponsorship of the Cyprus Foundations Administration, are in the Turkish Wheelchair Basketball Youth National Team.

Our athletes Vedat Küçükyılmaz and Abdülkerim Gökpur, who are in the Vakıflar Wheelchair Basketball Team, are going to Brazil to represent our country and Turkey in the best way possible in the IWBF Under-23 Wheelchair World Basketball Championship to be held in São Paulo, Brazil between June 13 - 21, 2025.

Our team will face Israel, Canada, Germany and the host Brazil in the tournament. Our first match will be against Israel on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:00 in the "Centro de Treinamento Paralímpico Brasileiro" (Rod. dos Imigrantes, km 11.5 - Vila Guarani). We wish success to all our athletes.
