Continuing its foundation tradition, the Cyprus Evkaf Administration organized a mass circumcision ceremony for children in need this year. Under the guidance of the Social Services Department, a total of 10 children were circumcised under hygienic conditions under the supervision of specialist doctors.

Following the circumcisions, a celebration was held recently in the garden of Cengiz Topel Hospital with the participation of the children and their families. Gifts were distributed to the children and various fun activities were also held. The celebration was organized with the contributions of various institutions and volunteer supporters.

Dr. Latif Abbasoğlu, Chief Physician of Cengiz Topel Hospital, said during the event, “Mass circumcisions are held regularly every year. This year, once again, under the guidance of the Social Services Department, 10 of our children benefited from this opportunity. As Cengiz Topel Hospital, we continue to contribute to our region not only in the field of healthcare but also in the field of social responsibility.” Abbasoğlu thanked all healthcare professionals and supporting institutions who contributed.

Cyprus Foundations Administration officials, on the other hand, highlighted the importance of such social projects and emphasized that similar solidarity activities for the needy segments of society will continue.
