İbrahim Ağa could not open his eyes for three days.

The medicines prepared by the physicians around him did not help.

In those years, medicines were prepared by the physicians themselves.

A physician came to İbrahim Ağa's mansion.

-I heard that the master's eye is disturbed. Healing is from Allah. I would like to see someone and prepare a medicine for him.

-Are you a doctor?

-Yup.

A few minutes later the gatekeeper came again:

-Here you are, the patient is waiting for you.

The attendant came in front, the doctor with his big bag in his hand, and the patient in the back.

The physician, who examined İbrahim Ağa's eye thoroughly, diagnosed the cause of the illness and envisioned the necessary medicine in his mind.

He prepared the medicine and asked for permission, informing that he would come.

Two days later the doctor was at the door again. This time, they let me in without any delay.

The physician, who is an expert in his work, applied the medicine he had prepared to the patient's eye with his own hands.

It will continue to be implemented in this way for a week. “I hope he will find healing by the grace of God,” he said.

Indeed, İbrahim Ağa's eyes began to relax from the second day.

A week later, they were happy to see that he had completely recovered.

Aga made his decision that very day.

He said:

"If I get well, I will take a part of my property and give it to the order of this doctor, who prepared this medicine and similar medicines in order to be thankful for my eyes.

When she recovered, this wish came to her mind. He established this foundation in Istanbul in H. 1158 – M. 1745.

In the deed of the foundation, there were sentences as a specification that continued, "For medicines to be prepared for eye patients, three akçe shall be given every day from the said income".
