Debbağ Hasan Hilmi Bektaş, known as Tabak Hilmi, establishes a foundation on January 27, 1955. Two shops and a house were donated in Nicosia so that it can be used for charity works and to generate income for the same purpose.

The house is located in the Nicosia courts district. This building, which is located right across the courts, draws attention with its architecture and is made of yellow stone, is in a position that carries the traces of history to the present day.

Contributing to students who cannot receive adequate education in science and technical sciences due to impossibility or who want to receive education in these fields is among the conditions of the foundation.
