i. The award ceremony of the competition on waste organized by the Cyprus Foundations Administration President Ersin Tatar, TR. The meeting was held at Nicosia AKM with the participation of the Ambassador of Nicosia Ali Murat Başçeri, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Energy Erhan Arıklı, Chairman of the Board of Foundations Administration Durali Elal and General Manager İbrahim Benter.

In order to draw attention to the waste issue, which is a big problem for our environment, nature, water and our future, it was aimed to focus on this point within the scope of the 450th Anniversary of the Cyprus Foundations Administration.

In line with this determined goal, it is stated that the competition on waste is at the forefront of the activities carried out in 2021, and these competitions, which are organized for children and youth between the ages of 5-18, aim to raise conscious generations for a more sensitive society.

The competition applications received over the internet were evaluated by the jury, and awards were given to the contestants who were ranked at Nicosia AKM on 19 May Youth and Sports Day.

The category winners will receive a laptop, the category winners will receive 1500 TL worth of shopping checks, and the category 3 winners will receive 1000 TL worth of gift certificates.

It is planned that a book will be prepared from all successful works in a short time and the publication will be distributed to all young people and schools throughout the TRNC.
