EVKAF reported that it contributed around 2 million Turkish lira to disabled citizens in 2021, which was a difficult year for everyone due to the pandemic process.

Cyprus Foundations Administration (Evkaf) published a report on 3 December Day of Persons with Disabilities and announced the support and assistance it provided for disabled individuals in 2021.

Special education centers in 2021; All the school expenses of 49 students in total at the centers such as Perception Special Education Center, Special Education Foundation, Özgür Adımlar Special Education Center, Ela Special Education Center, Medalya Special Education and Consultancy, Armel Special Education and Consultancy, Domino Special Education, Mavi Ocean Special Education Center and similar centers. In the statement, it was stated that the expenses of special education schools were also sponsored in the months needed and 822 thousand TL was spent for this item.

In the statement, it was stated that a total of 733 thousand Turkish liras of support was provided for the needs of disabled people such as chairs, ramps, beds, food and diapers, and said, “386 thousand Turkish liras of health support was provided to meet the needs of disabled people such as surgery, physical therapy and medicine. A contribution of 95 thousand Turkish liras was made for the disabled sports, cultural and artistic activities.

The Cyprus Foundations Administration also emphasized the belief that if disabled people are provided with the support they need and adequate opportunities are provided, they will achieve success in all areas of life.
