In the "Nature Index 2021-Cyprus" ranking, which indexes the articles published between December 1, 2020 – November 30, 2021 by the Nature Index Organization, which is accepted among the best journals in the world by independent scientific organizations (https://www.natureindex.com/country-outputs/cyprus ) “Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) succeeded to be in the top 10.

The article ranks 2nd in the list. This success to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is attributed to EMU Physicist researchers Prof. Dr. Seyedhabibollah Mazharimousavi, Prof. Dr. Izzet Sakalli, Dr. Zahra Amirabi and Dr. Sara Kanzi brought it.

Cyprus Foundations Administration General Manager Prof. Dr. İbrahim Benter congratulated the relevant professors for this step taken in the name of science and the success achieved, and presented an award.
