Kutup Osman Tomb and Lodge
It is located next to Namık Kemal High School, outside the city walls of Famagusta. This tomb belongs to Kutup Osman Fazlullah Efendi, one of the notables of the period.
Kutup Osman was born in the Bulgarian town of Shumen.
The sultan of the period, IV. It is known that Mehmet gave him the duties of imam and trainer in the palace and died in 1691.
The tomb, whose traces are about to disappear with the passage of time, was rebuilt by Elhaç Seyid Mehmet Ağa in 1824 and a small mosque and guest rooms were added next to the tomb.
The wooden epitaph of his tomb, dated 1835, is currently exhibited in the Cambulat Museum.
