Women's Foundations
The place of women in the foundation culture has always been different. When you look at many of the large foundations with a wide service network, you will see that their founders are women.
This shows the place of women compared to the foundation civilization and that women are at the forefront in charitable works.
The fact that half of the more than 2200 foundations established in Cyprus were founded by women clearly reveals this truth.
On this occasion, we commemorate our grandmothers, who founded foundations and pioneered charity work, with mercy and gratitude.
