A Foundation Established in Cyprus by Abdullah Pasha for Education, Health and Social Purposes

Founded in Cyprus on JULY 27, 1748, Abdullah Pasha Foundation aims to serve in health, education, social, charitable and religious fields.
This foundation has very large lands in Famagusta and Karpaz regions. It is located in the Evkaf archives in the property name, which is the title deed of the foundation.
In his charter, it is written:
Daily, at the school in Soğanağa Neighborhood; – 1 akçe for each student learning the Qur'an, – 3000 akçe for students' picnic expenses for one day in the summer, – A total of 24000 coins will be allocated each year, and each of the 40 current students will be provided with caps, mest, shoes, belts and clothes, and will be given to them during Ramadan.
In the school inside the Famagusta Castle on Cyprus Island; – Every year, a total of 24000 coins are set aside, and it is obligatory for each of the 40 students to be paid 1 kuruş for each of the 40 students to buy caps, lapels, shoes, belts and clothes and give them to them during Ramadan, – To buy Nalça and candy.
