A protocol was signed between the Cyprus Foundations Administration and the Cyprus Turkish Foundations Bank for the social responsibility project within the scope of the "Year of Science"
The social responsibility project between the Cyprus Foundations Administration and the Cyprus Turkish Foundations Bank, within the scope of the "Year of Science", was signed today at 09:00 at the General Directorate of Foundations Administration.
At the signing ceremony, Cyprus Foundations Administration Manager İbrahim Benter, Cyprus Foundations Administration Board Chairman Selahaddin Bayırkan, Cyprus Turkish Foundations Bank Manager M. Cengiz Erçağ, Cyprus Turkish Foundations Bank Board Chairman Ercan İbrahimoğlu signed the protocol.
According to the protocol, Cyprus Foundations Bank will give 300 thousand TL for the Turkish Cypriot Foundations Administration's contributions to education within the scope of the "Year of Science".
BENTER
Cyprus Foundations Administration Director İbrahim Benter, who took the first floor at the signing ceremony, pointed out that the Foundations Administration and Vakiflar Bank came together for a good purpose, and said that education is very important for the Cyprus Foundations Administration, providing a modern education to young people and children, questioning properly and morally. He said that raising young people is one of his most important goals.
Benter stated that the Cyprus Foundations Administration has given serious support to education for years and said that they came together with Vakıflar Bankası for this purpose, to contribute to the society and to contribute to social responsibility projects.
Explaining that the Cyprus Foundations Administration declared 2022 as the "Year of Science" and that they will build a library and science laboratory in each school, Benter said that the Foundations Bank will also support their projects.
Benter wished that the contribution made by Vakıflar Bankası would set an example for all banks, institutions, organizations and business people. ERÇAG
Cyprus Foundations Bank Manager M. Cengiz Erçağ, pointing out that they are very excited about the project, expressed his satisfaction that Vakıflar Bankası provided serious assistance to education and that Cyprus Foundations Administration made them a partner in the project.
Erçağ wished that the project would set an example for other banks, institutions, organizations and business people and wished the project to be beneficial.
İBRAHİMOĞLU
Cyprus Turkish Foundations Bank Chairman of the Board Ercan İbrahimoğlu stated that they are evaluating what the Cyprus Turkish Foundations Bank Board of Directors can do to contribute to the social responsibility project and expressed their happiness for contributing to the project.
Wishing that the project would set an example for everyone, İbrahimoğlu pointed out that they had taken a consensus decision in the board of directors to contribute to the project.
BAYIRKAN
Cyprus Foundations Administration Chairman of the Board of Directors Selahaddin Bayırkan pointed out that the Cyprus Foundations Administration has made a very serious effort to contribute to education, and that Vakıflar Bank will contribute to the project in terms of financing.
Pointing out that the Cyprus Foundations Administration continues its services as a charity, Bayırkan emphasized the importance of a charity appealing to all segments of the society.
Bayırkan wished that all institutions, organizations, banks and businessmen would contribute to such projects and make life easier in line with their possibilities.
