The ceremony for the second Turkic World Science Awards, organized by the Turkic World Yoruk Turkmen Union, was held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The event was organized with the support of prominent institutions such as the Organization of Turkic States, the Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TİKA), the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), the Cyprus Foundations Administration, and the TRNC Campus of the Social Sciences University of Ankara.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer, Director General of the Cyprus Foundations Administration, presented the Ulugh Beg Aviation and Space Sciences Award to Prof. Dr. Bobomurat Ahmedov, Director of the Ulugh Beg Institute of Uzbekistan, known for his work on relativistic astrophysics, gravity, and black holes.

The awards, presented in 15 categories, aim to honor the memory of individuals who have contributed to the history of Turkic-Islamic science and to encourage contemporary scientists working in the same field.
