Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer, Director General of the Cyprus Foundations Administration, and his accompanying delegation visited Sinan Aksu, Director General of Turkish Foundations, in his office in Ankara. During the meeting, they discussed new collaborations between the two institutions aimed at ensuring a strong legacy of foundation culture is passed on to future generations. It was announced that the Scanning of Foundation Works Project, conducted in the TRNC, is nearing completion, and that a digital inventory of all foundation works in Cyprus is planned to be shared with the public soon. It was also stated that the institution's institutional capacity will be further enhanced through training support provided by the Turkish General Directorate of Foundations to Foundation personnel in the fields of archives, law, and real estate.

The parties agreed to organize joint iftar dinners during Ramadan, bringing together diverse segments of society in Turkey and the TRNC. It was also agreed to increase efforts to ensure a more comprehensive and stronger coordination of the annual Foundations Week. During the meeting, a joint view was expressed on technical, academic, and institutional collaboration for the Turkish-Islamic Foundations Museum planned to be established in the TRNC. It was stated that the museum would make the rich heritage of the foundation civilization more visible at the international level.

During the visit, it was announced that all preparations had been completed for the delivery of 40,000 olive saplings, the first phase of the "100 Thousand Olives Project" being implemented in the TRNC, during the week of December 21st. It was also noted that the restoration and reuse of numerous historical foundation structures, especially the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, would continue in collaboration between the two institutions.

At the end of the meeting, the executives of the two institutions expressed their determination to further their collaboration to preserve, preserve, and carry the foundation culture strongly into the future.
